Child AbuseWatch is operated by One Child International Inc., a benefactor-funded Florida-based non-profit. Established in 2008, Child AbuseWatch is a child abuse prevention network providing information to law enforcement, medical professionals and the public. One Child International Inc., is not affiliated with any religious, political or cultural organization or institution; our only purpose is the protection of children from abuse.

Mission
Our mission is to protect children from abuse. Our belief is that an informed parent and community equals a better protected child. We implement our protection strategy by providing a centralized source of easy-to-access and understand child abuse prevention information. The site is designed for use by the public and professionals. CAN also provides tools for victims of abuse, investigators, law enforcement and healthcare professionals.

We implement our mission in five distinct ways
1. As Information providers: We provide child abuse prevention (including domestic violence) information to parents and anyone who has an interest in protecting children. Information on all aspects of child abuse is provided, including what it is, how it is recognized and what to do when experienced. It is provided free online, in print, and in our lecture-training programs. We have provided over 2 million copies of our prevention literature in the U.S. and internationally since 2010.

2. Crisis and Emergency Resource Referrals: The online network sites provide emergency and crisis referral information, localized to where the site visitor is located. Victim services information is also provided.

3. Interventionalist programs on behalf of children:  We speak out against child exploitation
and abuse issues, communicating directly with the source, through the media and local government. Correspondence with parties is generally made public on our site.

4. Provision of Law Enforcement, First Responder Resources: Extensive resources are available for law enforcement and health professionals who deal with children, particularly first responders. This is available in the form of literature, online resources, research and training.

5. Investigations - Offender Tracking: Child AbuseWatch provides absconded sex offender tracking, locating and observation services through our special investigation team when requested. As such we track offenders, build a file and provide the information to law enforcement and federal agencies to act upon.
